Why we built Conductly
Founded by a software engineer working directly with school owners
Conductly started from real conversations with frustrated music school owners. Billing was manual, enrollment was scattered across spreadsheets, and calculating instructor pay took hours every month.
The founder, Dustin Lyons, sat down with these owners, learned their workflows inside and out, and built a platform that actually fits how music schools operate. Every feature exists because a real school needed it.
In his free time, Dustin enjoys attending music classes with his two young boys, running, and working on software projects.
What we believe
Software should fit how you actually run your school
Music schools have real billing complexity, real scheduling complexity, and real human relationships behind every student. We build for that, not against it.
One platform beats five tools
Stitching together a billing app, a scheduling app, a CRM, and a spreadsheet is how mistakes happen. Conductly puts the entire school in one place.
Migrations should be free and painless
Switching software is hard enough. We move your data for you, set up your billing rules, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Real humans answer support
When something goes wrong on a billing day, you need a person, not a chatbot. Conductly support is staffed by people who know music schools.
